Life - the ups and the downs!

Hi all! In the last few months I have realized just how much life can be a roller coaster.  My husband was un-employed, we moved from our boat in Minnesota to my sister's basement in Utah. Surprisingly, the basement has more room than the boat, but my husband sure misses living on the water. I cannot say that I miss the weather. We've had two days where it snowed, but it was melted before the evening.

I also started working for a company that is pretty new to the home party circuit.  The company is MOBU Herbals. There are a few reasons why I chose this company, but the biggest is that the start up cost is $10/month and it is not required to have any inventory.  (Shameless business plug there!)

So, I have found myself looking at marinas, boats, and life in general.  I am really happy living close to family, but the husband would be happiest on the water again.  He was generous in letting me come to Utah and I am contemplating being a liveaboard again.

I've also decided to do less reviews, although you will see MOBU Herbals giveaways on this page, and to write about more of my random thoughts, life events, hopes, dreams, etc.

Weigh In Wednesday
Also, I am on the weigh wagon again!  I was so proud of myself for all the hard work that I had done to lose nearly 40 pounds over the course of a year.  Then, I fell in love and lived in a bubbled in boat in freezing Minnesota.  The falling in love was easy, but living in a shell and not having access to a car anytime I wanted sure took a toll.  As embarrassing as it is, I did it once again, I gained every ounce back!  But, what I didn't do is to get heavier!  That is a blessing that I have not encountered before.

Truly, the ONLY combination that works for me to lose weight is to set a daily calorie limit that I follow and to exercise.  If I exercise more, I can eat more and to me, that is a reward in itself!  So I bought the Fitbit One, synced it up to my Walgreens Healthy Rewards, my Sparkpeople, and I'm off and hoping to finally beat the obesity before it beats me!

So, as much as I am not a fan, here is a before head shot with my handsome handsome!  Let's just say that I am morbidly obese and in a few pounds can become just obese  (it is a step in the right direction!)  What works best for you to keep losing weight/keep the weight off?
