Couch to 5k - Week Two Completed

Ten minutes of total running time was not easy by any stretch of the imagination for me, but I did it!

I cannot tell you how amazed I am with my body right now.  After all the unhealthy eating, sitting around without much movement, and just not taking care of the body I have I am still able to move and make progress.

The program for this week was, " Walk for 3 minutes, then jog for 2 minutes. Repeat 4 more times. (Total workout time: 25 minutes)."  I had to do this three days this week with at least a day of rest in between trainings and to cross-train at least two days.  I read all the cross-training activities and one of the ones that I can do for free is walk.  The program said that walking is actually a great way to train for a run which surprised me.

The next week's program is the same, but with repeating it five more times.  I hope that my body is cooperative and can run for twelve minutes total.  What have you done recently that surprised you?
