Couch to 5K - Week Three Completed and the RunKeeper App

I finally made it to 11.4 hours of running this year.  I know some people may do that in a week, but woo hoo, I did it in the first nine months of the year! 

Usually I go running with my boyfriend, but he had to work and I did not want to run after dark when he got home.  Due to not having anyone else to keep me accountable, I decided to look at different apps for my Samsung SIII.  I installed RunKeeper and decided to take it for a run with me.

I was really impressed with the app.  RunKeeper tracked my course, the pace, and the distance traveled and even showed approximately how many calories I burned.   I am not sure what other people use, but if there is anything better than this, I would like to know.  If not, I would love to upgrade to the premium version of RunKeeper soon. 

This week the program was, "Walk for 3 minutes, then jog for 2 minute. Repeat 5 more times. (Total workout time: 30 minutes)."

Next week the running program is, "Walk for 2 minutes, then jog for 3 minutes. Repeat 4 more times. (Total workout time: 25 minutes)."  If anyone else has done this, is it at difficult to run the 3 minutes as I am imagining?

Five more weeks to a 5k!  I am getting excited and my running ticker should get up to 12 hours before I know it!
