Weighing in Wednesday: Big Hopes for 2013!

I wanted to lose 50 pounds in 2012, but I managed to lose 20 pounds.  I'll be happy with that!  Usually, if I set a goal and do not achieve it, I am likely to give up.  I hope that will never be the case again!

I found this great plan to be able to run a mile in four weeks.  I know, most people should be able to run a mile, but I just cannot even run a quarter of a mile without feeling as if death is close.  The website is Four Weeks to a Mile.  After I know I can run a mile and still breath, I will start a C25K program (Couch to 5k).

This year I am going to photograph my progress.  One of my biggest complaints is that I never know where the weight is coming off at.  If I photograph myself, that will be easier to see and will make me feel more accomplished in my goal.

Overall, I have been successful at not drinking as much soda pop.  I love the taste of it, but I drink water Monday through Friday then on the weekend I let lose with my soda pop consumption.  I want to limit my intake on the weekends as well.

And last, but not least, I have high hopes of becoming healthier through fitness and counting my calories.
