There are many times in my life that I look back at and am perfectly delighted with the way that things turned out.
My twin sister and I returned to Ricks College (now BYU-Idaho) after being gone for a year. We didn't know anyone and moved into an apartment with 6 other girls. The summer semester was a lot of fun and we made friends quickly. A lot of these friends are still people that I communicate with today.
My sister and I were tired of living with these girls and not knowing anything about them. Then it hit us, we should do something to get us all together so we could get to know each other. So we went to Albertsons, bought a cake, some Mtn Dew, and invited our roommates to join us at the table. It was so nice! Tammy (not too many people have the chance to call her that) and Jo were the first to join us. We were all ready getting along quite well at this time. Then sure enough, Suzanne, Erin, Carol, and April joined us.
We sat at that table together for awhile, visiting, eating, and laughing! It was one of the best memories of college that I have.
It amazes me how most of these people are still in my life. I was a brat quite a bit, but have grown up. I know we have all grown up and if we got together again, would have the time of our life
Do you look back at a certain day in your life and know that it changed you?
I know I am a better person for knowing the wonderful women that I had the opportunity to room with at Ricks College and the women that I became friends with!
