Since starting the Weighing in Wednesday, I have set and met quite a few goals. Some of the goals that have helped me to lose weight are:
- Walk more. I walk at lunch times, even on colder days, and walked a few laps with my sister. Walking is something that I am enjoying.
- Drink water. Before starting this segment, Dr. Pepper and Mountain Dew were my main liquid intake. I cannot even tell you when the last time I had drank water was before starting this segment. Now I do not go a day without drinking at least 24 ounces of water.
- Calorie Counting. I count my calories, even on bad days, and keep myself accountable. I am once again teaching myself portion sizes through calorie counting.
There have been quite a few people that have cheered me a long and have given me some great tips. I am always ready to learn more from you or to read what worked for you.
